Recipe type: Jam
- 910g (2lb) raspberries
- 910g (2lb) of sugar
- (or other equal measures of fruit and sugar)
- Pick over the berries and remove any bad ones.
- Place the berries and an equal weight of sugar into a preserving pan.
- Bring to the boil, stirring to ensure that all the sugar dissolves.
- Boil hard for 3 to 4 minutes, skimming off scum if necessary.
- Pour into prepared jars and seal.
